Head of Service Delivery International - Budapest

POSITION OVERVIEW

Sanofi Budapest Hub is seeking an accomplished senior finance leader to assume the role of Head of Service Delivery International. This permanent, full-time, hybrid position is based in Budapest, Hungary, and carries accountability for Controlling Operations services delivered across 32 countries spanning Africa, Central and South Europe, and Eurasia. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 28 professionals and manage an OPEX perimeter of €327 million, while driving convergence across 7 International MCOs worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the delivery of compliant, high-quality Controlling Operations services - encompassing budgeting, forecasting, financial close, and FP&A - across 32 countries.
• Drive harmonization and convergence of financial processes across 7 International MCOs, including EMEA, LATAM, Brazil, South East Asia and India, and Australia/NZ/South Korea.
• Lead, develop, and performance-manage a team of 28 professionals, including 3 direct Service Delivery Heads, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Manage global transformation initiatives aligned to the core model, spanning TM1, ERP, Rolling Forecasts, and the Insights Factory, in partnership with Global Process Owners.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Finance Business Partners, Budget Owners, and 200+ stakeholders across geographies and time zones.
• Chair governance meetings across the International perimeter, ensuring outcome-driven sessions with clear action tracking and risk communication.
• Continuously evaluate legacy ways of working and recommend evidence-based improvements to drive efficiency and value creation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven track record in service delivery leadership within a finance controlling environment.
• Experience leading large international teams of 30 or more members.
• Demonstrated experience driving process harmonization across multiple geographies.
• Advanced knowledge of Risk and Internal Controls and SOX standards.
• Proficiency with finance technology platforms, particularly TM1 and SAP.
• Strong influencing, organizational, and change management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA and/or CPA designation preferred.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
